Wiki Wonderland

Fifth Stop:

After hours and hours on my journey, I realized I never really left the town of Innovation3.wikispaces.com. I was constantly checking back on this this Wiki wonderland, learning new information, and accessing new websites that I didn't even know existed.

At times, I felt like I was on a never ending journey. In a way, I think I was right. The world of technology is never ending. There are endless possibilities for learning, sharing, collaborating, and communicating with others.

Chatzy Circle

Fourth Stop:

Chatzy Circle

As I began to find my way back through my journey of the digital world, I spent some time on Chatzy Circle....feeling quite confident using this tool, I regularly referred back to it when I ran into a roadblock. I found Chatzy to be a very user-friendly tool. I frequently checked Chatzy to ask and answer questions that had been posted. I enjoyed my frequent visits around Chatzy Circle.

Diigo Boulevard

Third Stop: Diigo

As I was traveling down Diigo Boulevard was where my journey began to get confusing. My road maps were beginning to get hard to read and I began to feel a bit overwhelmed. I signed up for Diigo and began to experiment with the research tool. I found out that it's a bookmarking tool to label important information found on the worldwide web.

Ning Avenue

Second Stop: Ning

I began by opening up a "Ning" account. Thinking it looked a lot like facebook and myspace, I decided to look up some information on it. Low and behold, I found out that it was, indeed, much like these two social networking sites.

http://http://www.ning.com/

As explained by Wikipedia....
Ning is an online platform for people to create their own social networks, launched in October 2005. Ning was co-founded by
Marc Andreessen and Gina Bianchini. Ning is Andreessen's third company (after Netscape and Opsware).
The word "Ning" is Chinese for "peace."

Where the Digital Journey Began

It all began with much little knowledge of the wide world of technology....

And the Journey Begins.....

I started off the trip with some knowledge of facebook, google, and the basics of how to email, and create word documents.....

Certainly, no computer genius or google guru by any means....

The The C's of 21st Century Skills began my journey full of

many obstacles to overcome, roadblocks, and finally successes....

After many road maps, confusing wrong turns that my GPS took me on--like a wild goose chase, it seemed at times.....I finally made it to my destination!!!
